Our commitment
SurroundYou Design LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including those with disabilities. We continually work to improve the experience for everyone who visits our website, and we apply the recognised accessibility standards to do it.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities and disabilities.
What we have done
- Audited the whole site against WCAG 2.1 AA with automated testing across every public page.
- Added descriptive alternative text to meaningful images; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Added a visible keyboard focus indicator and a “skip to content” link on every page.
- Structured headings and page landmarks so screen readers can navigate the content.
- Made navigation, forms and interactive elements fully operable by keyboard.
- Checked colour combinations for sufficient contrast.
Known limitations
- Online scheduling. Our appointment booking is provided by a third-party service (17hats). It is keyboard accessible and correctly labelled, but we do not control its design. If you have any difficulty booking, please contact us directly and we will arrange it for you.
- Payments. One payment-related element on our product pages is generated by our payment provider and does not fully meet our markup standards. We are working with the provider on a fix.
